DESCRIPTION: The Omega Wheel is a patented non-pneumatic wheel developed for applications on plant casters. This polyurethane wheel achieves its load bearing capability and
enhanced impact absorbing capabilities through a patented web/spoke structure. This structure is designed to buckle at deflections above a predescribed operating deflection. When the wheel encounters an obstacle, it deflects as it travels over the obstacle cushioning the load, and rebounds to its original shape after passing over the obstacle. Through the use of finite element analysis (FEA), the design has been optimized to carry high loads at high speeds.
BENEFITS: Noise reduction in comparison to standard polyurethane wheels. Will run at high speeds and not lose its bond.
Does not require shear discs or springs to provide shock absorbing features.
Will not pick up metal chips.
Tested and engineered for 5 years.

DESCRIPTION: A custom compounded urethane elastomer
that offers the highest abrasion resistance, maximum impact strength and lowest rolling resistance. The result is a wheel which is easy to roll under the heaviest loads, and guaranteed to outlast and outperform metal, rubber, plastic, phenolic, and even conventional solid urethane wheels. AE wheels resist nearly all chemicals, greases, oils, solvents, fuel oils, and other compounds which attack most molded plastic or common rubber wheels. And since the AE wheel is a completely solid elastomer, there is never a possibility of tread separation caused by bond failure between
wheel tread and core.
The unique symmetrical hub design allows the AE wheel to withstand severe impact generated by extreme shock loading. It will not chip, crack, or chunk out like most polyolefin or phenolic wheels, nor will it "flat spot" under normal loads and temperatures. Good heat and cold resistance allows maximum performance within a wide temperature range. These qualities make the AE wheel the "Perfect Caster Wheel" in tough, demanding environments.
